Join us as we remember and recognize Jim Ditch for his 35 years of dedicated service to the transit industry. Jim was a founding father of the California Transit Training Consortium (CTTC), and his passion for training, education, and workforce development continues to inspire the work we do today.

Now celebrating its 15th anniversary, the Jim Ditch Golf Classic welcomes transit agency and industry professionals from across California for a day of fun, connection, and friendly competition. Each year, more than 120 golfers come together for a “best ball” style tournament featuring on-course activities, a great raffle, and the opportunity to support the next generation of public transportation professionals.

This popular golf tournament has raised more than $283,000 for the Jim Ditch Education Fund and has helped provide 79 scholarships to students seeking to advance their careers in public transportation. Many scholarship recipients have gone on to fulfilling careers in transit, especially in maintenance and technical fields.
