We’re proud to announce that Long Beach Transit (LBT) is the transportation sponsor for the Jim Ditch Golf Classic. LBT will support guest movements to and from the event CTA Host Hotel throughout the day.

Registration and Breakfast: 7:30—8:30AM

Shotgun Start:  8:30AM

Banquet, Awards & Raffle Prize! – Approximately (12:30 PM – 4:30 PM)

Going to be a great day for Golf and camaraderie with your favorite transit people.

Lots of “stuff” this year for our golfers on the course including:

• Tacos & Tequila Hole!
• Free Beer, Drinks, Soft Drinks
• Lemonade Stand – including goodies, snacks and Lemonade (even spiked)!
• Contest Holes!
• and the infamous RAFFLE!!! Including the Grand Prize of Custom Golf Clubs.

Scholarship fundraising is the Purpose.

This popular golf tournament has raised over $283,000 towards the Jim Ditch Education Fund, and has provided 79 scholarships to students who wish to advance their career in public transportation. So many of these scholarship recipients have gone on to various fulfilling careers in transit, many in maintenance and technical fields. There are many ways to contribute to this worthy cause during the tournament including multiple sponsorships and joining us for a great day of golf.
